Customer and local-business reviews

PlatformCommon applicationContext to preserve
Google Maps / Business ProfileLocal services, retail, hotels and restaurantsBusiness listing, location, publication date and review text
FacebookBusiness recommendations and customer feedbackRecommendations use a different format from a five-star review
YelpLocal-business experiencesPlatform rules and recommendation status
TrustpilotBusiness and transaction experienceInvitation/source context and business profile
FoursquarePlace-related feedbackListing and available feedback format
Trusted ShopsRetail and ecommerce feedbackSeller versus product feedback

A customer complaint about delivery is not automatically a product-quality issue. Keep the subject of feedback clear before combining it with other sources.

Travel, accommodation and hospitality channels

PlatformTypical feedbackUseful distinctions
TripadvisorAccommodation, restaurants and attractionsTraveller narrative, business category and experience date if available
Booking.comAccommodation feedbackBooking context, property score and textual comments
AirbnbAccommodation and host feedbackListing and stay context; access depends on available records
ExpediaAccommodation experienceProperty, period and source-specific score
AgodaAccommodation experienceProperty and rating scale

These channels have different audiences, eligibility rules and score calculations. A combined report should retain source-level information. A supported channel may have no reviews in the selected period.

Employee, software and app feedback

AudienceChannelsQuestions the analysis can help investigate
Employees and candidatesGlassdoor; IndeedWhich workplace themes recur? What differs by role or period?
Software customersG2; CapterraAre onboarding, usability, support or feature gaps recurring concerns?
App usersApple App Store; Google PlayWhich bugs, journeys and feature requests appear repeatedly?

Employee reviews need different handling from public customer comments. Protect confidentiality and avoid trying to identify anonymous contributors. App reviews should retain operating system and version information where those fields are available.

What “supported” means in practice

The channels above are described in ReviewsBlender’s service material. Before starting, we verify the business or product, relevant listings, the period and accessible feedback. Historical depth, private records, direct publishing permissions and fields available can differ by source.

Support for analysis is not a promise of unrestricted scraping, a direct partnership with each platform or permission to republish every review. We agree an appropriate collection route and report scope. Send business/listing links; do not send account passwords in an enquiry.

Healthcare, education and government feedback can require a bespoke arrangement. Agree data minimisation, access, reporting and retention requirements before transferring confidential material. Contact us to establish whether a particular source and project can be supported.

Choose the sources that matter to the decision

Start with where your audience leaves meaningful feedback and where prospective customers research the business. Include important sources with mixed or negative feedback; selecting only favourable channels produces a distorted picture.

For a restaurant, local and dining feedback may be most relevant. An HR team needs workplace feedback; an app team needs the app stores. A group can combine these perspectives without treating them as interchangeable votes.

Frequently asked questions

Are these official integrations or partnerships?

This page describes analysis coverage, not a claim of endorsement or a direct integration with every platform. Available collection routes and permissions are checked for each project.

Can you analyse another feedback source?

Ask us with the source, business and intended use. Additional or private sources require a suitability and handling check before they are included.
